FAA Medical

Treatment you can rely on

Eastern Shore Urgent Care provides FAA medical examinations on a scheduled basis, Please call ahead and a member of our staff will assist you in setting up an appointment. Unlike the general medical services provided by Eastern Shore Urgent Care, FAA medical exams must be scheduled in advance with our designated medical examiner (AME), Dr. Mahoney. He is designated for FAA class I, class II, and class III medical certificates.

Please register at https://medxpress.faa.gov before arriving for your appointment.

Note: Those using MedXpress for the first time must create an account before filling out forms. It is MANDATORY that you bring printed copies of both the 8500-8 form and the APPLICANT ID NUMBER that you receive after submitting your form. Failure to provide these documents may delay the examination or prevent the examination from being performed.
Fill out the 8500-8 form completely, answering honestly. Your AME will provide assistance if your exam results in a deferral.

Once you have completed all of these steps, call Eastern Shore Urgent Care and request to make an FAA Medical appointment with Dr. Mahoney.
