Michael A. Mahoney, MDThe Eastern Shore Urgent Care Center was founded in 2008 by Dr. Mahoney and Dr. Mark S. Siegel, another Emergency Medicine physician, as one of the area's first privately owned urgent care clinics. Dr. Siegel happily retired in 2018.
Dr. Mahoney grew up in Starkville, Mississippi, is an alumnus of Delta State University and University of Mississippi Medical School. He is a graduate of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Louisiana State University Baton Rouge and has lived in Daphne since 2000.
In addition to Urgent Care services, Dr. Mahoney serves as a Senior FAA AME (Aviation Medical Examiner) and currently is the only FAA medical examiner in Baldwin County. Dr. Mahoney has a Commercial Pilot rating and is passionate about helping those with interests in aviation navigate FAA related medical issues.
